50% Bay and 50% BLACK foals.

Very friendly and seeks out human companionship. Lia is very soulful, intuitive and a great communicator.

My son has spontaneously swung up on her back bareback several times and she has calmly carried him around her large pasture, without any training whatsoever, not even wearing a bridle or halter. One day, when she was old enough, he simply swung up on her back and she was happy to walk around her pasture with him, without any worries from either of them. She has such a great temperament and has known only love, kindness, consistency and trust her whole life so further training will surely be fun and easy.

Lia is another special mare whom we have intended to keep for our breeding program, ever since she was born but we are limited with whom we can breed her to here on our farm. We have unsuccessfully been in search of a suitable outcross stallion to bred her to for 2 years now, as she is closely related to our stallions (but not necessarily too close to breed together this genertion).

As breeders, we are always thinking of future generations as well so if Lia is not bred to an outcross stallion, then her foals will need to be (to stay in our breeding program).

Lia has been waiting to begin her special purpose in life for a while now so in the absence of an outcross stallion to breed her to, or the time to train her and take her out for trail rides, etc., we feel as if we are holding her back from living her best life. This is why we are reluctantly considering helping Lia to find a new family.
